We are kicking off October which means the cold season is upon us! (At least for those living in North America.) The cold season can also bring on some not-so-happy feelings and emotions. I'm talking about Seasonal Depression, otherwise known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and although not completely depression, but this also includes the winter blues.

Today's episode dives into what causes and triggers seasonal depression can bring based on research and some of the experiences you all shared along with things we can do to help offset the winter SAD. I also talk about some of the science behind what may be going on in our brains during these winter months.  It's pretty fascinating.
