  • We’re So Back, Magic Included

    Hey hey hey! I’m back feeling more like myself than I have in months. What a fabulous feeling! 

    This week, I’m hoping to make you giggle about my life as a cartoon character, and also empower you that no matter how tough the journey gets, you will make it out.  It’s been a difficult past few months and my journey towards healing continues to remind me of the magic of what it means to truly live. 

    Recorded on the spring equinox, I discuss the significance of new beginnings, the importance of community, and the sheer wonder of that we get to exist at all. 

    I share a little bit about my Norway trip, but I’m saving that for a full recap episode – all I will say is I got the biggest sign I’m on the right path. What great reassurance can you ask for? I’m also talking about my amusing challenges as a single, independence-driven woman. Ahem, I almost didn’t make it hanging a curtain rod. HA! 

    This week’s episode is all about the importance of choosing oneself, seeking joy in the small and big moments, and always betting on yourself. I mean, what better person than yourself?

  • In-Between: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

    In the voice of Molly Weasley, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!” I know, I know, your girl had to go on a brief hiatus because there have been some major life changes! 

    This episode only touches the tip of the iceberg, but there will be more to come. **wink wink**
     Here’s a look: 

    • Recent adventures like New Orleans, maybe not the food I expected but I had a blast celebrating my girl and dancing the night away on Bourbon Street
      •  The most INCREDIBLE mother-daughter trip to New York City – OMG! I have soooo much more to say about NYC, but i’m saving that for when my mom and I can hop on the mic together. It was truly magical, and I’m officially a NYC girly. 
      • How did the NYC guest pitch go? You have to listen! I delve into the imposter syndrome, new things learned, and all that I gained from the outcome.  
      • Hurry sickness – what’s that? My new self-diagnosis. 
      • What’s TRULY been going on and why I’ve been missing-in-action the past few weeks? I’M BUYING A HOUSE!!!!! *big overwhelm* *major life change*
        • I get a little personal with the not-so-pretty side that this experience has been and how Stan and I are navigating these stressful times (won’t lie, it hasn’t been great, but it WILL be!).
        • When the complexities of family relationships present themselves, what matters the most? 

    Tune in for an honest, authentic, and heartfelt episode full of personal insights and life lessons. Per usual, duh.

    Note to anyone visiting Elizabeth in Atlanta- we’re going to be walking! (LOL) On that note, welcome back to the podcast, one of my favorite internet friends, Sherreece Rowe! 

    Sherreece and I were connected through my husband Stan during a sales call after sharing she was a podcaster. The rest they say is history. Finally after a year and a half, Sher and I met in person when she visited me in Atlanta. 

    This episode is our Atlanta recap, from the hilarious shenanigans we got into and so much more, here’s a look at what you’re in store for:

    I'm back from vacation and I've got the hubby on the pod today! Maybe this is our new thing – we always do a trip recap episode. That's one way to get him on the pod, ha!

    We're talking all about our trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, aka God's Country (or so I've been told). From the insane negative temps, to skiing our heart's desire – Stan is pretty good if I say so myself, and trying not to slip and break our head open in a hot spring,  it was a fabulous trip that left us refreshed and ready to GO!

  • In-Between: Vacation Jitters

    Anyone here a victim of pre-vacation anxiety? *Raises hand* 

    • Yes – I'm that person who shows up at the airport 3 hours early. 
    • Yes – I'm going to be rushing off the plane to get to baggage claim.
    • Packing checklist? Don't know her. 
    • Packing ahead? Everyone laugh with me now.
    • Overpacking? Ah, yes. I DO know her.

    If you can relate to any or all of the above, this episode is for you! I'm pumped for my big trip next week, but can't help but have the vacation jitters. We even touch on the post-vacation depression!
